For unknown reasons, we happened to get pulled over for a check by the local carabinieri. Lovely...We were well prepared with our documentation for our rental car, as well as our international drivers licenses. We were not speeding. Who knows why we were stopped. Arne tried to make small talk about the dead animal on the road, probably a badger. We were asked where we were from, where we were staying. And then after a few times going back and forth to his vehicle to talk to his partner we were let go. Welcome to Italy!
