We read in our very detailed book at Cretaiole about a little drive we could do to see the iconic chapel view down the road from us. The road to Citadella Vitadela (I hope I am spelling this correctly). We set out on our drive, parked the rental car just where we were directed to, and then walked the long road out to see the view. Breathtaking!

After this, we kept driving to see the cute town of Castiglione D'Orcia. We walked through town and saw a lady hanging out her wash and leaning out the window watching us, an old man with a cane and vest on. We saw the castle, however did not make it over to climb up it. Such cute town street views.
